Anyone planning on playing this tournament?  It is slotted as the warm-up before  The 3 Wall World Championships in Vegas Baby....

Short wall just like Vegas!!!

Last chance to hone those shots!!!

I can't understand why this shootout isn't being talked about more.  I just went to the r2sports sign up page and realized they are offering $1500 cash in the Mens Pro Doubles division.

C'mon players, start signing up!!! Having run tournaments I know how difficult it can be to organize and plan effectively when players wait until the last minute to sign up, do these guys a favor and don't wait.  I am sure this will be a first class event!

Angel -

Very soon the word gets out!  Some details are just being finalized.

Really nice of Joe and Frank to put some cash aside for me and whoever I play with.

I hear they have some big name corporate sponsors.  This event should be very good.

I feel pretty confident about my chances of repeating in both Pro/Open and Mixed.

One partner is current the Mixed World Champion, and my other partner has a pretty good backhand.:dude:

The partner with the pretty good back-hand better bring a newspaper to read while he is on the court, he's going to have time to read it. Can't think of the female though...

The female is Martha MacDonald.....I'm not sure if anybody got double digits against them in the last tournament.

Here is the guy with the backhand.

I know who the guy with the backhand was, I will bring him a copy of USA Today so he has something to do while he is on the court.

That's right, I forgot about Martha.  Good to see that she will be able to make it down.  Hope she has a strong back...

Looks like a fun tourny, but from the looks of things, with only two people signed up, it looks like a lock for them to win.  Does anyone have knowledge of this event?  Will it fill up?  I don't want to sign up from jax and have it not happen.

This event will happen.  It was a blast last year and the tournament directors are doing everything to make it bigger and better...

**Prize Money

**Big Name Sponsors

**GRILLING AT IT'S FINEST

**Tough Competition

P.S.  This time around The Tampa Bay boys are going to hold there own!  So don't be upset if the money stays in Tampa Bay.  LOL...

This tourney should have between 40-60 players in it.  Will be alot of fun.  Alot of good ball playing and trash talking, good ole outdoors...

Oh did I mention the grill.

And last but not least, the Tourney Directors, great guys, alot of fun.

Unfortunately home court advantage will mean nothing at this tourney though.

Anybody know if the contact info on R2 sports is good?  I called the number twice and was told wrong number and hung up on by some lady.  So, I tried the email address.  Hopefully that works.

Last time I went to Tampa you said I would not make it out if either pool.

Just a reminder! I won everything I entered. Including the kid you thought would dominate. History don't lie!

Hope to see you in the top division angel.

Big question ... Will the Tampa indoor studs brave shortwall? Lot of talk last time that Mr Harmon would dominate the lowly outdoor guys. I hope we get to see hom and Toby!

Oh Vic, you're going to see me. Same division and same pool as you.

You are right, history doesn't lie, but I choose not to live in the past.

If that's the case - you are correct!  My partner will be able to take a break and read the newspaper for that match at least!   Unless you are bringing Kane, Mr Backhand may not even need to serve!

See you soon Bro.

Angel - I think you are estimating pretty low.  We had that many last year with no money on the line.

Once the word gets out about the prize money, I expect a much bigger turnout - especially from S Florida.   Last year only 4 teams from S Fla were in each of the mens divisions when we were playing for trophies.  $1500 on the line will make an impact I believe!

Blast emails are about to go out.  Snowball is about to start rolling down the mountain....
