Little comment from RandyB in another thread:
""The board has recently decided to go in a new direction, and will be taking over control of the site." - Randy Forrest"
Maybe someone from the Board can comment on what new direction entails. I don't know how many of you recall the site before RandyB so graciously offered his time and expertise but it was NOTHING like it is today. Florida has one of the best and most informative sites in the country. Also, RandyB was largely responsible for the Forum we all enjoy so. I know he fought long and hard to convince the previous web people the value of this Forum.
Personally, I think Randy will be able to actually enjoy sleep every now and again and not feel compelled to be coding improvements at 3:00 AM in the mornings and this will be a good thing for him but I also do not feel it is in the best interests of the Florida racquetball community that has come to rely on the FRA website for all the information it provides. Hopefully, we have not reintroduced the mindset that had this site mired in email lists and basic HTML code for the few and rare changes we once had.

Cut and pasted from another thread.......definitely worth repeating!
Excellent news Randy.....More time for outdoor ballin'!
Without any sordid details that I'm guessing have a putrid stench......
Many thanks Randy for the efforts you put into the FRA website over the years!! We appreciate the hard work and expertise that goes into such an endeavor and applaud your dedication. Cheers Randy and Yvonne, the racquetball community here in Florida is lucky to have you involved.
See you guys in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for getting this started Eric......you had me right up until "mired in email lists and basic HTML code". The Linguist strikes again!

Eric--Your FRA newletter just arrived out in your mailbox which include the rankings, articles, upcoming tournaments. Plus pictures of the lastest State tournament.
While you are out there, pickup the entry form that was mailed to you for the State Doubles tournament. There is a special discount if you mail yours in prior to August 5th.
Keep our USPS going...

The only thing the mailbox held for me today was an entry form for some tournament in Lakeland.

Saved me a lot more than $5! It was for the winter 2009 tourney!
Did you know nutrition plays a big role in cramping?
